1. First time setup

When running the app on Android for the first time, it will ask you for permissions to show notifications. It is highly recommended to allow this permission, because you will likely close the game every time you played your turn and you want to play again when you receive a notification that it's your turn again.

When you see the lovely AI-generated title screen (to be replaced), tap it and you will be presented with a single button "Login / Create Account". Tap this button to begin setting up your player account.

A browser will open where you can select from different types of accounts to use for logging in, or you can create a new account using an existing email address. Go through this process and when completed, the browser will say that you can close the window and return to the game.

When you're back into the game, the game will ask you to enter a username. This is NOT the same as the email address that you used to login with. This is ONLY a display name that is shown to other players in the game. We currently don't provide the option to change this name afterwards, because of the prototype development phase, so pick one that you're willing to stick with for a while.
